Paringa is a small town located in the Riverland region of South Australia, about 240 kilometers northeast of Adelaide and close to the South Australia-Victoria border. It's known for its agriculture, including vineyards, almonds, and various fruits. One of the town's most notable features is the Paringa Bridge, which was constructed in 1927. This bridge is one of only two opening bridges in South Australia, allowing river traffic to pass through by lifting a span. Paringa also serves as a gateway to the Riverland and is popular for houseboat activities and river tourism.
