New Town

New Town on the Yorke Peninsula, South Australia, is a small locality in a primarily agricultural region known for its proximity to scenic coastal towns and farmland typical of the area. This area was settled in the mid-19th century, around 1865, and has a history of small industries, including lime kilns, brickworks, and fruit shops. It’s part of the Copper Coast region, which has a rich mining history due to its past as a copper mining hub, notably in the nearby towns of Moonta, Wallaroo, and Kadina.
